The problem

Brazilians in the US find each other, and Brazilian businesses, through word of mouth and scattered Facebook groups. There is no single, trustworthy place to look.

Why I built it

As a Brazilian living in the US, I wanted one good place to find and support Brazilian-owned businesses, and to help the community connect.

What it does
  • A searchable directory of verified Brazilian-owned businesses across the US, organized by state, city, and category: restaurants, shops, services, media, nonprofits, and tourism.
  • Business registration so owners can add themselves.
  • A community focus, including support for Brazilian women entrepreneurs.
Could this work for you?

The real value here is the pattern, not the topic, and it travels. A few ways the same idea could work for something of yours:

Any diaspora or local community

A trusted directory for a community's own businesses.

A niche marketplace

Where trust and belonging matter more than sheer volume.

A members directory

For an association, chamber, or group that wants its people to find each other.

Want a version of this for your own idea? That's a great first conversation.
